Thursday, 11/3/11

Today we watched some YouTube videos about how maple syrup is made, and about how cranberries are harvested in the NE region of the United States. We are doing our novel projects - to share what we learned while we read our novels. Most of us are making posters - some of them are paper posters and some of them are online digital posters. We did bar graphs and line graphs today in math. We have a quiz tomorrow in social studies about the NE region. We had PSA today. A sheriff's officer came and talked to us about not opening doors when we are home alone and how to deal with strangers if they ever come up to you, and to never talk to strangers or get into a stranger's car.
We finished up some late work because Mrs. Goertzen *might* have a little reward tomorrow for anyone who has ALL of their work turned in. :)
We have a spelling post test tomorrow.
