Wednesday, 11/9/11

Today we read about some interesting things in Social Studies - the people that are actors at the Plimoth Plantation in Plymouth, MA, the fortress that they built, the houses with grass thatch roofs, and the Declaration of Independence. We got to watch a little bit of a video about the actors who "live" at the plantation so that visitors can see what life was like then.
We started writing stories about having "Helping Hands" - either a time we helped someone else, or that someone else helped us.
We did our last PSA session!
We made flipcharts about Mean, Median, Mode and Range. And then we went outside and ran a couple of laps around the blacktop.
Three of our mealworms are pupas - FINALLY!
We talked about what the words "independence" and "declaration" mean.
